This third "leg" of the crone "stool" felt very sturdy, Julie. I love the idea of the network of "mycelial" connections cracking CHIP's foundation and transforming it into fertilizer for a new, kinder way! It's bringing to mind Gaia/Ace of Earth from the DG deck. Divine repurposing! May it be so 🙏🪱🌱🙏

Women are so magical and I believe we need the patriarchy to give us the chance to show that we are wise and intelligent and move forward in a new way where love leads with taking care of each other.

The space between endings and new beginnings has been uncomfortable for me lately and I have been seeking an anchor for stability while fear moves through me. I meant tingles 🤦🏼♀️🤣. I have just got home from a gathering of about 20 women. Most of them were over 60 — a few crones. It was great talking to some of them, a couple who initially baulked at the word and then found that they rested comfortably in it after we unpacked the power. Here we come. 🙏🌀🖤

Thanks Sarah. Yes as one who resides at the thresholds, the Crone's true power is found between the opposites, where both exist and both are true. Her NO is strong and her YES is tender. Grounded in her body and in life, she is a powerful woman. And I'm learning to be her everyday. Which is an incredible offering and gift. 🖤
I read an interview on here yesterday by a writer, she was 72 and vehemently against being called a Crone. I felt sad for her because she was denying herself such a great honor.
Yes, I've been seeing this too. I wonder if it's more because they are associating the title Crone with diminishment, or being an ugly old woman. The beauty and anti-aging industry is quite huge and has a powerful reach. For a woman to feel not beautiful anymore especially when we've been taught that beauty is our best quality, then this could be devastating.
And at the same time, returning to the Crone, owning the name, is even more powerful than the language against it. It invites us into our sovereignty, into a reclamation of coming home to ourselves. And as you said, Janee, this name is such a great honor. 🖤
