I write and create because I have too! A devotion to embodied living. Grounded in this form, rooted in the soils of our planet. In love with life! My writings and poetry come from deep listening. Following the crumbs, into what needs to be shared. Being informed by these magical places where the fog meets the land, the ocean kisses the shore.
I find a deep invitation in the polarities of life. For I am both wounded and complete. Broken and whole. Perfectly imperfect! An opportunity to be more fluid with them rather than choosing and defending a side. There is an incredible beauty the opposites generate together. This isn’t just mayhem going on, even though it can feel that way. I see this tension more as an opening for creativity, power and a fuller expression of life. An intimate meeting with the mystical.
The liminal are these incredible places where the polarities meet. Creating something else, more than the sum of the parts. Sometimes it comes as a challenge showing up as a long dark hallway after something has ended but the new opportunity has yet to begin. And other times it is incredibly wondrous like when we experience interconnection as energies cross and blend.
Devoted to the Mother, Sacred Feminine and earth-based traditions I have come to understand the shadow and darkness as part of our cycles. Simply, it is our night to our day. We all have traumas & wounds. These are not “things” to be fixed and then rid of. But a means of deepening into what it means to be human in relationship with life and the many manifestations that reflect our interdependence.
An ongoing composting that fertilizes new growth! I am sure we all know the Rumi quote, “The wound is where the light enters you.” Our shadows, aches and hungers teach us to be humble and how to let go of the tight grip on life. To have compassion for ourselves and others. All bringing a deeper intimacy with everything. Making the medicine that is needed for our world right now.

My background has been a dance with many traditions. Sacred Feminine, Shaivism, Vedanta, Ayurveda, Tibetan Buddhism, Wicca, Sufism, Gnosticism, Shamanism, Animism. Tarot, all deeply seated in the mystical nature of our lives. Additionally, I have a bachelor’s degree in nutrition science, a masters degree in consciousness studies. And I am a minister and teacher.
