Wow, Julie, oh my gosh! I can't even believe these breathtaking images are real… they feel like they were dreamed into being by water herself.

And your words! Touching, amazing, magical doesn’t even begin to cover it. I felt like I was walking alongside you through it all. This post felt like a deep remembering, of how to listen, how to yield, how to let the mystery move through me.

You’ve captured something here that feels both vast and intimate, like the very spirit of water whispered through your pen. Thank you, thank you. Another post that I’ll be returning to again and again. 💙🌀

Thanks so much Jenna - I truly appreciate what you have shared here, it deeply touches my heart.

YES, it was a magical journey, deep and profound. And balancing too! I don't have a lot of water in my astrological chart, so being with water is extremely soothing for me. And I'm still drinking the water... 💧🩵💧

This was all so beautiful, Julie. Your lyrical words, the photos, the shimmering power of the water element. Astrologically, I'm watery as can be (Cancer/Cancer rising/Pisces moon, with some significant things in Scorpio, as well). I've long felt soothed by water of all sorts, and I felt this in the aquifer of my marrow. Looking forward to future elemental explorations with you! Thank you so much for all of this. 💙🩵🌊💧✨🩵💙

Thanks Keith! Wow, triple water! I'm (Fire, Earth, Earth). I just looked back at my chart out of curiosity after just reading your words, I don't have a lot of air or water in it. I'm mostly fire and earth. Which is probably why I crave water. I need it to complement the elements in myself. Whereas for you Keith, I would assume water feels like home. Well, you did say it is the "aquifer of my marrow." Beautiful by the way. 🩵🩵🩵

Thank you for sharing some of your sacred moments with different bodies of water.

I have lived close to the Puget Sound and glaciated Mt Rainier in the rainy Pacific Northwest except for 4 years when I lived in California.

These different forms of water mean so much to me for many of the reasons you describe 🙏🏽💗🌊

YES! Agree Maria, there are so many bodies of water all over the world. Each one an invitation, an offering. We only have to be there as presence, and the waters overflow with blessings and wisdom. The Pacific Northwest is a beautiful place. I have only been there twice, and that was mostly the Seattle area. There is sooo much I want to witness there. It's an upcoming trip...

There is so much to enjoy and reflect on here Julie, water is our sacred friend and ally, what an absolute pleasure it is to see it as you have seen it. I am often in awe of the amazing places that I get to see, because others have seen them on here. It's quite magical that we can have that experience. Waterfalls are so special aren't they? I've been to Iguazu Falls in Argentina and I could feel what it wanted to share. I feel truly blessed to share in it all.

I just looked up Iguazu Falls in Argentina, WOW how stunning. Waterfalls are so incredibly astonishing. The Mt. Shasta area has so many falls. On this trip I went to the McCloud falls too. The river has three of them, a lower, middle and upper falls. Much smaller than then Burney Falls, but still powerful none the less. That's what I feel, the power, thunder, energy! Then the quiet mist, flow and journey. Thanks for traveling with me Louise! 💜

This is so stunning...the place, yes! your writing, more so. Your reflections on water...each piece from the lake, the waterfall, the fog and more, gifted me with a timelessness of ancient wisdom. This is a post that I will be saving to reread later on...And oh, Julie, to bring alive in this post the liminal from each place was divine. Bless you xxx

Thanks Sam! This trip was so profound for me, it inspired and taught me. Yes, I went on a physical trip to Mt. Shasta, but I journeyed deeply into the ancient waters of life itself... Thanks for traveling with me! 💜

I could feel myself traveling with you as I read your words about the waterfalls, the lakes, the head water. Water is life, giving and teaching and gentle and destructive. It truly is liminal in nature. Absolutely gorgeous essay.
