Yay! I love the Hermit! Reading this post made me think about our recent wonderful conversation...so many things I want to say! (Firstly, and as an aside, my publishing company is named Hermit's Light Publishing. 😁) And then, I feel really drawn to that Asherah tarot card. Do you like/recommend the deck?

A few years ago I had a somewhat disturbing dream about Baba Yaga and I had never thought to associate her with the Hermit. But this definitely sheds some light (ha!) on my dream. Thank you so much for these insights!

March is my birthday month. This card seems very appropriate for me. To be grounded by the 6 pointed star - above and below; to be reflective; to find and seek the answers; TO KNOW THE QUESTION FIRST. I feel that my year begins in March...and the days before my birthday I seek out my deepest inner questions, my raw inner needs, what do I want to deeply heal this year, what are my wants, what do I need to do to self care this year...those kind of questions...

I loved the quote “Within nature, within your mind, seek out the still and sacred places where magic is heard, felt and seen. Spend enough time to feel this as an integral part of who you are.”

Such a lovely reminder...to seek the still within...for this is where the answers are.

And Julie, I love what you wrote about the shamanic way of life. As you know this is very strong for me. I resonated with your words here so much. Thank you so much for such a wonderful post... xxx

Thank you Julie. Chanting is also my favorite meditation practice. 💗
