Yes, sister Crone, I am right there with you! I love this time of life. I love the grey hair and wrinkles. I love the quieted, stable hormones. I love not being noticed. Just as you said, it really does allow us to claim our magic and power, and feel truly alive. Thank you for these words of wisdom!

Thank Jenna, this time of life is sooo precious. During Samhain the veil thins, yet getting older feels like that thinning too, just ongoing.

Thanks Kerigwen! I just finished a year course with Sharon Blackie called "Hagitude" based on her book. Was powerful to be in a group of older women. So much wisdom there, it was very affirming. It was already in the making, but this group cemented for me how I see getting older!

Oh I love this! I too love this time of life. I love my white feathers in my dark hair, my ability to trust myself more, the fire within me that glows brighter because I am taking my rightful place within my energy. I love how I love myself more now than I have ever before dreamed possible.

Julie, your post is so empowering. It invites women to stand tall and be PROUD of who they are. Your wisdom is so sacred. Thank you for sharing.

I feel such power in this post as this energy rises up in you, giving you new life force and wisdom. It’s a beautiful phase to be in and sometimes I think I’ve been yearning to be the crone all my life! It feels comfortable, warm and inviting and I can’t wait to hang out with my ancestors more, to sit round the fire, tell stories and hold each other tight. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. 💫🙏

YES! I agree. I too have been yearning for this time of life! Even though I did not know that back then because I was still under the patriarchal hypnotic trance of what it meant to be an older woman. In some ways I feared leaving the maiden and mother phase. But once that cloud was removed, truth came forward. Allowing this time be a natural movement into "eldering". So grateful....
