Hey Marie! Yes I hear you! It isn't the easiest practice! The "OR" is so deeply ingrained in us through our culture. It is like the waters we don't even know we are swimming in. For me it does mean shifting the way I think AND a deep surrender to the heart. For the heart is fluent in the language of connection, the "AND" & "BOTH".
Yep I agree, Okay bear with me...It is hard AND it is simple. AGHH! In other words, Challenging till it becomes more natural. I see this simplicity as our natural state. Yet with so much baggage packed on top of it, it can be quite the work to uncover, deal with and let go of the garbage that doesn't serve me. A life time of practice really. Difficult yes! Worth it? Absolutely! Love to you Marie - Glad you stated a stack!
I have also been leaning into and/both, and the importance of our interconnectedness. There's so much to say about it, and this is a wonderful addition to the conversation.
Yes so much to say, I could have kept writing. AND I did not want the post to be too long. A very important subject, dear to my heart for sure.
Yes, it is a leaning in. I use that wording too. Has a softer feel doesn't it? A willingness to see and be with the patterning of the "OR" without the hardness of rejecting. While simply choosing to move towards connection cause that is where the heart truly longs to be. An ongoing practice.
Absolutely! I've been trying to specifically focus on moving toward what serves me and others, rather than just moving away from what doesn't. That shift in perspective makes such a difference.
I love that you are apprenticing as and Edge Walker!!! I want to hear so much more about your learnings in this meeting place. I have been deepening my listening with the psychic realm of energy, the interconnected interface of communication within our seen and unseen reality. So much to learn within these depths and expanses. I feel in my whole body that we are needing to bring conscious presence and awareness to the threads of energy that weave all of us together. As you shared, we cannot help but influence and impact one another with our choices. I feel like we need to restore our reception in a way that honors the interconnected reality. Powerful and exciting!!! Love your Voice Julie!
To weave in truth where there are lies, to weave in hope where there is despair, to weave in love where there is hate... Julie your post spoke to me about the lines we walk, about the thoughts we consider, about the road we choose to tread. Thank you for inviting the MAGIC of our hearts to open new pathways into our mind and body, and into Mother Earth.
I also really really enjoyed the first part of your post - the "science" part...that highlights how connected we are to the ALL of us and the ALL of nature...
Lovely to come across you on my travels Julie. This is a lovely piece about interconnectedness. There is a joy and a responsibility in the realisation that all our actions have an impact on others and the planet. It's also beautiful to know that we walk alongside others who get it too.
Both/and is the most productive, and maybe the most difficult mindset to practice. Thanks for the reminder!

Again, that call to be heart centered. Ha, it sounds so simple.
