Oh Julie, this is amazing! Through my experience with the torus, I knew that the vesica piscis was the shape of relationship, but I not thought of the yoni/mandorla or the pores of the skin, or all the many ways it shows up as the portal to liminality. Now I'm going to be looking for it everywhere! I also want to say that your collages are outstanding. I enlarged them and felt like I was falling into them as I stared. Really beautiful work. Thank you so much for all of this!
Thanks Jenna! Yes there is so much depth to the Vesica Piscis, to the liminal, truly is a wonder! One thing I love about writing here on Substack, is that I go deeper with each post I write. The subject matter takes me to new levels of understanding and embodiment. This one for me was gift to write about. And I appreciate your words regarding my collages. I love doing them, glad you like them!
Oh Julie! I do love your piece. It is so powerful and healing, and your collages are so beautiful. I have been meaning to ask...how do you do them?
So the Vesica Piscis...I first met at Glastonbury at the Challis Well. An incredibly powerful symbol...a threshold...a portal...do we dare to tread where two sacred circles meet? Do we dare to explore the liminal space between? Do we dare to wonder what lies beyond?
I am so grateful for your post Julie. I am so grateful for the left and right and for the middle that you offer. For the sacredness of our senses and for what they have to offer...
Julie, thank you for this...it invites my spirit to DANCE...that is how I am feeling after reading this ...I want to DANCE the SACRED DANCE of all the portals opening within. Thank you x
So touched by what you have written here Sam! "Dancing the Sacred Dance of all the portals opening within." Beautiful! I too find these portals, the liminal, an amazing place to linger. They are teachers for me, places of rest, gateways to new understandings. Yes, "do we dare to tread where two sacred circles meet?"
How wonderful you got to see the Vesica Piscis at the Challis Well. I have only seen pictures of it. What a wonder! I hope to go there one day!
Regarding my collages, I do them in photoshop. I thoroughly enjoy doing them, glad you like them.
Side note: Tried texting you in telegram...but your recent post would only let paid subscribers post comments. Was not sure if that was your intention? This happened to someone else here I know, and it was not her intention. So thought I would mention. Glad I was able to comment in the notes.
I was the complete opposite Julie, I really struggled with Maths, but loved words! Having said that I do love sacred geometry and I know that my guides always present a scientific angle to go with the mystical, because it gives something relatable. I always feel the ancientness of these symbols and marvel at how they were created. It's truly mindblowing.
Yes, it is mind-blowing isn't it! Life's symbols and nature's physical expressions, as these sacred geometrical oracles. Each symbol initiating us into their depths. I loved going deeper with the Vesica Piscis here in this post, brought in a whole other dimension for me. I find that writing these posts in general takes the subject matter deeper, revealing truths that I did not even know I needed. Always revelational!
