Agreed Keith. Yule and Solstice 101! Thank you Julie. Looking forward to the 12 days of Yule offering. Your last two contemplation questions resonated with me: How can I embrace the light and dark within and without? What wisdom do my ancestors or spirit guides have for me? I am now ever more delighted to be here, on the land of my ancestors during this time of the year of reflection. I will take this question into the weekend: What wisdom do my ancestors or spirit guides have for me?

Heather I am so glad these question resonated with you. And makes so much sense being where you are right now, as you said on the land of your ancestors. Yes what wisdom do your ancestors have for you? I am sure they will be speaking to you if they have not already!

My name is derived from Goddess Rhiannon, yet I haven’t explored much of her myth. And in this moment I am so confused as to why I haven’t lol. I’m deeply touched by her story, and feel that there is something there for me to deepen into. Thank you for sharing her story. 🙏

There is a lot more to her story. Her story is found in a Welsh collection of mythologies called the, Mabinogian. I am glad you were touched by this, and there must be a deeper connection here as you seem to be feeling into. You do carry her name afterall. Enjoy the exploration!

I never knew Yule was 12 days, very interesting. Explains where the 12 days of Christmas comes from.

Yes, there were many Celtic traditions that were converted into the Christian holidays. Many Yule festivities, traditions and celebrations you see around Christmas.
