Love how thoroughly you expand into this day through the lenses of the moon earth and traditions. It is feeling like a very sweet time of celebrating holy days, holy moments. Life is suspended in a moment of stillness, and within it, we dance and give praise 🤍
Thank you for sharing your Yule rituals with us. I was not able to find the space and time to honor it in ritual. I was deep in the dark, working on letting go. I tried to keep grace, for both myself and others, as a guide when energy and emotions felt too big.
Thank you for holding space for me and my family. Imagining you with the Deer Mother, honoring the dark and light, I just added my intentions and stopped feeling sorry for myself my day was not what I planned.
While the Sun is high in the sky for me this eve, it is low for you. Both are powerful liminal points - the rising and the falling (or the falling and the rising). Both a reminder to honour the dark and light within, to honour the passing of one phase into another, to honour the gifts that are felt in the darkness (or the light) and that can be taken into the next 6months for sacred heart medicine.
I am taking the light and the brightness with me now into the next 6 months where and when the darkness will begin to overtake my landscape. I am taking the joy of sunshine and the warming of friendships, I am taking passions and creativity, and warming and illumination into my next 6 months.
I feel as though it is a reminder for me to REMEMBER THE BEAUTIFUL BRIGHT LIFE CHANGINGLY AMAZING THINGS that occurred over the past 6 months and to hold them closely and to let them fill me when things get dark...
The light feels very sacred this year. More than normal.
Thank you for this Julie, there is so much to absorb. I love learning more about these traditions and the roots of their origin. I have been going inwards and listening to those messages of death and rebirth, planting the seeds of opportunity. I will sit with those questions that hold deep meaning. I love the cards, I am sharing a fireside fable in a few days, which these match perfectly. I love the beautiful synchronicity of that. 💫🙏

The Deer Mother is one that's near and dear to my heart, one of my personal deities so your card pulls feel especially fitting. I haven't exactly decided what I'm doing for solstice yet. I guess I'd better get that figured out! 😁
