Love this, Julie! I've been thinking about this card lately and all the deep symbolism on it. There's so much there! Layers upon layers. One way it's showing up in my life lately is when I noticed the frozen leaves on my morning walk and how everything was so still. I had the thought that, for the trees, that stillness is sort of like the space between heartbeats. Then I thought about and felt the space between my own heartbeats and really noticed the fractal nature of the cycle of heartbeats throughout the universe. Thank you for this wonderful liminal exploration of the wheel!

beautifully written. the wheel of fortune came up as an energetic imprint on my birthday for this unfolding year! a beautiful synchronicity to now read this piece. it told me about the greater weavings of my destiny. as in, the medicine I am here to share. I feel this card is a beautiful embodiment of these threads of fate that are our souls journey. like the spinning wheel that weaves threads (direction) from a mass of wool/energy. what is meant to be. the wheel that turns and twirls us towards our purpose. a beautiful representation I've heard for this card is the three fates in greek mythology. weaving together our past, present , and future. I really loved your piece about impermanence. its always a good reminder for us humans who have tendencies to hold on and control. a dance between allowing life to flow as it is meant to while finding our ways of directing the energy towards our greater vision. the middle path of presence.

Julie, I LOVE this post. is feels so earthy, and grounded. She is "an underworld experience of transformation"..."allowing curiosity to arise"..."eating away at the foundations of dysfunction." YES!! The first step in permaculture is to observe. And then interact. To watch and listen and feel and smell all of how the land expresses herself. And then to fit ourselves in, not disrupting or dismantling, but integrating into her processes, taking from them and giving back, so that the energies pass through us and feed us, without us starving her and all the others of those energies. High Priestessis like a loving mother who teaches us, mentors us, instructs us, corrects us, shows us how it all flows. LOVE this post. Thank you.
